It's late, I should be in bed, but I wanted to make a quick post. Today at lunch, C.F. Payne (an incredible, hard-working illustrator) reminded me to never stop growing as an illustrator. I'm young, he reminded me. I'm taking my first steps into this larger world. Right now, I just need to get my feet wet, keep practicing, keep getting more clients, keep practicing and, most importantly, keep practicing. It's simple, perhaps even cliche, but it rings rather true.
And since I'd feel weird posting here without a sketch, well, here's a sketch I did whilst watching Family Guy.
Time for bed.
